| Subject: Googlegangers... are you unique or generic? Sat Apr 19, 2008 8:38 pm | |
| Easy just google your full name, that is first name and last name (No middle name keep it interesting), and see if you are the top result if not you're generic, meaning there are millions of " yous" around the world. Ok not millions but more than one, If you are the only person on the net with your name you get a score of zero, which is a good thing you're unique, if there is one other ' you' you get a score of one. If there is more than ten dont even bother to count lol. If there are a billion " yous" but you are the first result then you're still popular enough to beat the other yous... lol. (or it could mean you have lots of spam on the internet ) If you get no results you're also unique but as a good ninja (you know invisible and stuff, or spy or sleeper cell either that or you dont exist lol). If you're listed but not number one in the rankings you're a big wannabe (even if you have a million pages- you're still not number one lol). If you're not listed but alot of people have your name you're just a clone lol. Remember to use inverted commas, "search string here" to only get results with the search words in the correct order. I'm not unique or popular and (with my real name) have a score of 1... steups... am i a clone too? yeah but only by one... dude that sucks. _________________ lonliness is a killer... imaginary friends are lifesavers... http://www.anxietyhelp.org/information/leibowitz.html I got 124...
